This contemporary art collection is of original oil on canvas paintings, in various sizes. Tom enjoys creating art that expresses how he connects with nature; combining both how it looks, and the emotions he feels at that time. His work is spontaneous, and the painting grows and develops with each layer of paint. He paints in the "old masters" style, with his own expressions and outlook. Each painting takes days of concentration, as the images come directly out of his lifetime of obsevation and collection of mental images. He uses colors that augment his emotions, and brushstrokes to convey depth and movement. His trees seem to have personalities, landscapes flow with motions, flower scenes form a living bouquet, and the mountains seem mysterious, but inviting.
