These two sculptures are larger than-life wood carvings.  They were started with a chainsaw, then details added with hand tools.  "A Testament to Time" is made out of redwood, and "E" is made from oak.

Tom carved these wood sculptures years ago with a chainsaw. He has worked with oak, redwood, and madrone. Many of his creations are larger-than life made out of logs, and he also has created some out of burl wood with interesting patterns of wood grain. Each one is unique. He has a large amount of burls that he has collected through the years., so, there may be more to come.
